a stranger who cares

You there.

I don't know your name, I can't see your face, and I may not have experienced your pain but despite all of that, I care. I wish I could listen to each of your stories and be able to tell you that you deserve so much more. I have never tried meth, nor do I personally know anyone who has, but that doesn't mean that I do not respect the enormity of the wake of pain that it creates for other people. I cannot imagine how it feels to not be able to escape something that you thought was your escape, how it feels to be contained by something that you thought freed you. It breaks my heart to not be able to help you because not a single human being deserves to be trapped like that. You are worthy of feeling and looking like yourself again. You are worthy of the sincerest form of love. You are worthy of being cherished and being clean. I think you just have to realize it.
